The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reported on Sunday that they intercepted several suspicious aerial targets crossing from Lebanon. The IDF used interceptors to bring down these targets.

The incident caused a fire near the kibbutz Ayelet HaShahar and triggered sirens in upper Galilee. An IDF officer and a soldier were injured and taken to the hospital. Their families have been informed.
Israel Fire Services are working to put out the fire caused by the attack. Initially, the sirens in Kiryat Shmona and Kfar Giladi were thought to be false alarms.

IDF spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said that Israeli forces are active in multiple areas, including Gaza and Lebanon, to address threats. In Gaza, the focus is on locating and destroying tunnels used by militants.
On Sunday morning, a stabbing attack in Holon resulted in two deaths and two injuries. The attacker was neutralized by police.
On Saturday, the IDF and Israeli Security Authority (ISA) targeted a terrorist cell in the West Bank’s Tulkarm area, eliminating five terrorists. Later, an operation in Tulkarm led to the death of four terrorists who fired at Israeli forces. Large amounts of weapons and military gear were seized.

Hagari criticized Iran for arming and financing terrorist groups in the Middle East, emphasizing ongoing efforts to counter these threats.
This follows the October 7 attack by Hamas, which killed 1,200 people and led to around 250 abductions. The IDF is committed to bringing hostages back home, whether alive or deceased.
According to the Gaza Health Ministry, over 39,000 Palestinians have died and more than 90,000 have been wounded in the ongoing conflict, though the figures do not specify civilian or militant casualties.
