The 2024 European Championship will wrap up on Sunday with a showdown between three-time champions Spain and England at the Olympiastadion in Germany (3 p.m. ET)

Spain secured its spot in the final by defeating early-tournament favorites France 2-1 on Tuesday. England advanced with the same scoreline against the Netherlands on Wednesday.
Despite the excitement a match between France and the Netherlands would bring, featuring stars like Kylian Mbappé, Antoine Griezmann, Virgil Van Dijk, and Cody Gakpo, there will be no bronze medal match at Euro 2024.
UEFA included a third-place match in the tournament from 1960 to 1980, but since 1984, the Euros have not featured one. The last bronze medal was claimed by Czechoslovakia, which defeated Italy in a penalty shootout 9-8.
Third-place matches continue to be part of major tournaments like the FIFA World Cup and the CONMEBOL Copa América. Canada and Uruguay will compete for the bronze medal at Copa América on Saturday (5 p.m. ET).
